The Strange Disappearance of Eldon Crowe is a retro old-school 4-bitesque horror-themed adventure game, (a point n’ click adventure without the pointing and clicking. All interaction is done purely by walking over items and up to objects).

As a journalist, you’re investigating a number of mysterious deaths and disappearances at a remote location. You travel to a large country house in North Wales to see if you can get to the bottom of all the strange events.

As you begin to explore the house and start to discover the house’s hidden secrets, the dark and disturbing truth begins to unfold as you learn what really happened to Eldon Crowe.

You must find and use items to aid your exploration of the house and its grounds. The player can only carry one item at a time, so they must pay close attention to the clues to figure out what items are needed for each puzzle. For this reason, the clues and description of the objects are quite clear to avoid the player having to just guess.

The game appeared on Armor Games, and also won a prize in Kongregate’s monthly contests (October 2018).
